Iggy, the Chirping Bird
Watch with the sound on!
Iggy is incredibly gentle and cute. After chatting with you, she would curl around next to you purring softly and gently spreading her toes in a sign of ultimate happiness.
When she plays, she has a funny habit of catching her prey and walking with it to the other side
of the room, looking extremely determined
and serious.
Iggy is a healthy young girl: spayed, vaccinated (done by Feb 7), microchipped, and negative on FIV/FeLV, Parvo.
Iggy still has a bad habit of diving into dumpsters when they are open or stealing human food, which can be deadly to cats (onion, garlic, avocado, chocolate, etc.). So, if you adopt Iggy you'll have to make sure she doesn't get a chance to steal anything from you – she is fast!
Who is Iggy?
Iggy is 1 year old, yet she's very smart for her age. She loves chatting with her humans, and she's especially keen on discussing her life plans and her daily updates.
Iggy looks like a fashion star with her bright coat, green eyes, and an expression straight from
Vogue magazine. Yet, despite her fancy looks, Iggy has the nicest, down-to-earth character. Iggy loves cuddling and playing. She would follow you around in the morning, nap on top of you during the day, have an energetic play in the evening, and sleep pressed to your leg under your blanket during the night.
Iggy's Rescue Story
I rescued Iggy when she was wandering around the tourist area right under Dubai Eye in
the 39 °C heat, looking lost, dirty, and hungry. It's a miracle that she survived there, as cats never stay there for longer than a few hours, and it's a mystery where she came from.
The moment she got home, she showed her loving and lively personality, as she would play around and then get on my lap and start chatting like the cutest little bird.
Iggy will be great living as an only cat. She might do well with other cats, but only if they have soft personalities as she gets easily pushed away by other cats.
I would like her to be rehomed separate from
Lil B and Ernie because Iggy gets a bit shy around Lil B who strives to get all attention from her human and a bit dominated by Ernie who also tries to be close to his human but has an alfa personality.
Lil B, Lil Ball of Infinite Energy
Lil B will be great with kids as she is small and gentle with humans. She might be jealous around other felines, demanding all attention to be hers, so she should be either an only cat or a companion for a cat who is more independent from humans but also can stand up for themselves, as Lil B, despite her name, has a type-A personality and always wants to get the attention from her human. This is why, we are rehoming her separate from Iggy.
Apart from her loving personality, Lil B is very
fit physically; she is the most rapid and determined hunter during playtime, with her high jumps and artful dodges.
Who is Lil B?
Lil B, or Queen B, is 1 year old. The minute you meet her, you'll ask yourself: How can this little creativer have this much energy and love??
If you adopt Lil B, you will never feel alone again. Lil B is looking for a family who will have the flexibility and desire to spend a lot of time with her, as Lil B loves nothing more than cuddling, getting kisses from, sleeping next to, sitting on, or under... her human. She's looking for a family who would appreciate her company.
She also has a funny little goatee beard and a cute radial swirl right on her chest—signature signs of her unique personality.
Lil B's Rescue Story
Lil B was rescued from a busy Dubai Marina area as she ran towards one of the towers, looking dirty, anxious, and extremely sad. She was mewing non-stop while we were waiting to figure out what to do with her, but the moment
I let her inside my apartment and opened the carrier, this dirty scared kitten jumped on top of me and started to purr, way too loudly for the body her size. All she wanted was love.
In the first weeks, she would climb on top of me every time I would get into the room where she was quarantining. A few times, she even jumped on my shoulder while in the shower, settling and purring non-stop, with complete disregard for the water pouring on top of her.
Lil Chewer
Lil B is a healthy girl, yet she has pica – a tendency to eat non-edible objects. She would be the best cat for you if you are looking for a fluffy baby to care for and if you would be okay with making adjustments in your house to ensure that she doesn't have dangerous objects in her reach (small metal or plastic pieces, ropes, nails, shoe laces, jewelry, ribbons, cat toys with chewable plastic pieces, etc.).
Pica often becomes less prominent as cats get older or months after spaying, yet as of right now, Lil B still often tries to chew random items. We are looking for adopters who will make 100% sure that she is not running the risk of chewing items that could obstruct her stomach.
Lil B is spayed, vaccinated (last shot by Feb 7), dewormed, negative on FIV/FeLV, Parvo.

Ernie, a Gangster with the Cutest Ears in the Business
Ernie is a special needs cat with FIV, meaning his immune system takes longer to fight off illnesses. Because of this, he must be an indoor cat and may require higher medical expenses if he gets sick.
Currently, Ernie is in great health. After being rescued, his dental issues were addressed, and his liver, kidneys, and blood were checked—all in perfect shape. As our vet pointed out, Ernie has a very strong cardiovascular system, a gift from the years of tough street life.
Ernie can be a great companion to other cats. In the past months, he lived peacefully with three non-FIV cats in a small space, causing no harm aside from light scratches.
Ernie will be good with older teens (14+) but not young children, as he values his space. The boy allows two head kisses when hungry and only one when he's full—any more, and he’ll playfully try to hit you in the face or give you a bite!
Who is Ernie?
Ernie is a 5-years-old male cat, yet, he has the energy levels of a playful kitten. While fighting to survive on the rough streets of Dubai, Ernie's little body collected many scars: he is missing part of his tail, his tongue is cut in half, and he is FIV+. Yet, despite all his traumas, he preserved the kindness of his soul and a wise attitude to life.
Ernie, as confirmed by the vets, has the shiniest bright black and white coat and healthy skin.
His cute face resembles a baby elephant, and his cute voice has such a wide range in tone that you end up feeling you know exactly what he says to you at every given moment.
Ernie needs plenty of entertainment, especially if he lives in a small space. He may get vocal when bored but is mostly content keeping to himself. While he’s not a typical cuddly cat, he’s still very affectionate—he'd curl up next to you for naps or sleep. He also has a cute habit of lifting his butt and leaning on his front paws, purring happily when petted on the head and cheeks.
Ernie's Rescue Story
The image on the left is the first photo I took of Ernie when he showed up unexpectedly in our neighborhood one hot and humid night.
Back then, Ernie looked completely different—his bat-like ears seemed too big for his thin, sad face. He was sitting there with a few french fries and a smoothie someone had given him, a statement to how little people understand stray cats' needs.
Ernie chose to stay in our neighborhood, where he received love from locals; he gained weight and looked healthier. He also built a reputation as an avid scooter racer and connoisseur (see photos in the library below).
Yet, Ernie lived with constant danger—crossing busy two-way streets for food and risking being taken by pest control services.
I had no capacity to rescue Ernie, but one day, a big storm was coming. Knowing how dangerous storms can be for cats in Dubai, I took him in for just one night. He protested loudly on the way home, and I worried I’d made a mistake. But the moment I opened the carrier, he stepped out calm, curious, and purring.
Right then, I knew he was meant to be a home cat and couldn’t go back to the streets.

Would you like to adopt?
My name is Anna, I'm a rescuer from Dubai, and I can't wait to help my rescue cats find loving families. The adoption process takes a few steps. Please send me a message and any questions you have about any of the cats. I'll then connect with you first to discuss the basics, then, I'll share a formal adoption form, and we'll set up an interview.
You'll get the full medical history and life story of the cat before you make the final decision. An adoption fee will be required. From my side, I'll arrange and fully cover the flight of the cat from Dubai if you live abroad.
